Sean was my sixth grade music teacher at The Haverford School, in Haverford, PA, so I quite literally knew him for over 40 years ... he was a great inspiration to many, but sometimes I wondered if he knew just how significant a contribution he made. He will be missed by me ... finding out a year after he passed, from his friend, Murray, I am saddened I had not kept in touch more.

I'm so sorry to hear about Sean's passing! I was a graduate level student in MA at The Kodaly Musical training Institute in the late 70s, and I fondly recall Sean's coming by one summer to join us. He was a great guy, very knowledgeable and lot's of fun .... and frankly, it's quite amazing that I recall his being there after all these years, since he only visited for a weekend or so. some people really light up a place, and that's just what I recall happening! Thank you for your posting on him.
